1916 - World War One. A young American soldier called Simon Bukner joins
the Allied Army and soon experiences the horrors of war first hand.
But he quickly realises that the Germans aren't the only threat.
A greater evil is lurking beneath the battlefields and trenches of
the Great War: an ancient but secret war between vampires and demons,
which has begun to spill into our world. Thrust into the middle of this
supernatural conflict, Bukner must fight to save humanity from the forces
of darkness and choose an unlikely alliance to bring the war to an end.
NecroVisioN is first-person shooter that takes places in a varied range of
locations, from the horrific and bloody trenches of World War One,
to secret labs and underground caverns plagued by gruesome undead creatures.
You must battle through legions of German soldiers and hideous monsters, as
you venture future into this terrible underworld.
Inspired by infamous horror writer H. P. Lovecraft, the story blends
historically accurate locations and weapons, with nightmarish creations.
As a result, players fight enemies using authentic World World One-era
weapons, supernatural but powerful demon artefacts, vampire technology and
when the action gets too close for comfort a range of visceral melee moves.

NecroVision to pierwszoosobowy shooter rozgrywający się w czasach I wojny światowej. Oprócz historycznych realiów, ma on w sobie także elementy nierealne, jak obecność sił nadprzyrodzonych, wampirów i demonów. Za projektem stoi polskie studio The Farm 51 korzystające z tego samego silnika graficznego zastosowanego w także rodzimym Painkillerze.
Bierzemy udział w konflikcie, w którym ludzkość nie stawała dotąd po żadnej ze stron. Nie była nawet świadoma, że głęboko pod ziemią rozwija się cywilizacja wampirów. Te krwiożercze bestie szybko osiągnęły wysoki poziom zaawansowania poprzez wydobywanie i odpowiednie wykorzystywanie metali szlachetnych. To też doprowadziło do zainteresowania czarną magią, której nieostrożne użycie otworzyło portal do świata demonów. Wampiry, które stanęły w obliczu swej eksterminacji, zaczynają porywać żołnierzy z frontów I wojny światowej. Ludzie zmuszeni są do wsparcia wampirów w walce z większym i znacznie bardziej niebezpiecznym zagrożeniem.
