Windows 7 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs and media center PCs.
Windows 7 was released to manufacturing (RTM) on July 22, 2009, with general retail availability set for October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista.

New and changed features
Windows 7 includes a number of new features, such as advances in touch and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, DirectAccess, and kernel improvements. Windows 7 adds support for systems using multiple heterogeneous graphics cards from different vendors (Heterogeneous Multi-adapter), a new version of Windows Media Center, a Gadget for Windows Media Center, improved media features, the XPS Essentials Pack and Windows PowerShell being included, and a redesigned Calculator with multiline capabilities including Programmer and Statistics modes along with unit conversion. Many new items have been added to the Control Panel, including ClearType Text Tuner, Display Color Calibration Wizard, Gadgets, Recovery, Troubleshooting, Workspaces Center, Location and Other Sensors, Credential Manager, Biometric Devices, System Icons, and Display. Windows Security Center has been renamed to Windows Action Center (Windows Health Center and Windows Solution Center in earlier builds) which encompasses both security and maintenance of the computer. The default setting for User Account Control in Windows 7 has been criticized for allowing untrusted software to be launched with elevated privileges by exploiting a trusted application. Microsoft's Windows kernel engineer Mark Russinovich acknowledged the problem, but noted that there are other vulnerabilities that do not rely on the new setting.
Internet Spades, Internet Backgammon and Internet Checkers, which were removed from Windows Vista, were restored in Windows 7. Windows 7 will include Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media Player 12. Users will also be able to disable many more Windows components than was possible in Windows Vista. New additions to this list of components include Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center, Windows Search, and the Windows Gadget Platform. Windows 7 includes 13 additional sound schemes, titled Afternoon, Calligraphy, Characters, Cityscape, Delta, Festival, Garden, Heritage, Landscape, Quirky, Raga, Savanna, and Sonata. A new version of Virtual PC, Windows Virtual PC Beta is available for Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions. It allows multiple Windows environments, including Windows XP Mode, to run on the same machine, requiring the use of Intel VT-x or AMD-V. Windows XP Mode runs Windows XP in a virtual machine and redirects displayed applications running in Windows XP to the Windows 7 desktop. Furthermore Windows 7 supports the mounting of a virtual hard disk (VHD) as a normal data storage, and the bootloader delivered with Windows 7 can boot the Windows system from a VHD. The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) of Windows 7 is also enhanced to support real-time multimedia application including video playback and 3D games. That means that Direct X 10 can be used in a remote desktop environment. The three application limit will be removed from Windows 7 Starter
Taskbar
The taskbar has seen the biggest visual changes, where the Quick Launch toolbar has been replaced with pinning applications to the taskbar. Buttons for pinned applications are integrated with the task buttons. These buttons also enable the Jump Lists feature to allow easy access to common tasks. The revamped taskbar also allows the reordering of taskbar buttons. To the far right of the system clock is a small rectangular button that serves as the Show desktop icon. This button is part of the new feature in Windows 7 called Aero Peek. Hovering over this button makes all visible windows transparent for a quick look at the desktop. In touch-enabled displays such as touch screens, tablet PCs, etc., this button is slightly wider to accommodate being pressed with a finger. Clicking this button minimizes all windows, and clicking it a second time restores them. Additionally, there is a feature named Aero Snap, that automatically maximizes a window when it is dragged to either the top or left/right edges of the screen. This also allows users to snap documents or files on either side of the screen to compare them. When a user moves windows that are maximized, the system restores their previous state automatically. This functionality is also accomplished with keyboard shortcuts. Unlike in Windows Vista, window borders and the taskbar do not turn opaque when a window is maximized with Windows Aero applied. Instead, they remain transparent.

- Download and extract using WinRAR.
- Use NERO to burn the ISO image called faXcooL.Windows.7.Ultimate.ENG.x86-x64.ACTiVATED
- Burning speed should not be faster than 4x. Otherwise, it might not work.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure you've seleceted your DVD-ROM/RW drive as a first boot device
* Enter the BIOS pressing the DEL button, set the option, insert your Windows 7 installation and restart computer.
- The black screen will appear (image 01).
- Press any key to boot from CD or DVD.... (by pressing the key you're entering the setup)
- Select your language, time and currency and keyboard input (optionaly)
- Click install now
- Choose your edition (x86 is 32-bit, x64 is 64-bit) depending of CPU type you have.
*Choose x64 if you have 64-bit processor.
- Click I accept.
- Click Custom (advanced).
- Choose your partition/hdd drive where Win7 should be installed and click format.
*You might get some error if you have two or more hard disks with different connectors (ATA and SATA).
If you get an error, turn off one of your hard disks and repeat the whole proces.
- After formatting, setup will continue automaticly and it will finish after 15-30 min.
- Next step would be username (Image 17).
- Type your password (if you want).
- When you get the screen for CD-KEY just ignore it leaving blank.
*Uncheck the box for automaticly activation and click next.
- Choose the third option for next step.
- Select your time zone.
- Select your current location (Home is recommended).
- The black CMD windows will appear. Wait a few seconds until computers restares once again.
- And that would be all about installation. You're in Windows now.
*Activation*
- It's not required, because it's OEM. Windows will be premanently activated.
However, it's well known that there is some problems with DELL and HP machines.
So if you have issues with pre-activation you'll be forced to some activator to activate Windows 7.

Nothing has been removed from the original ISO files. It's completely untouched. The only thing that I modifyed is setup so that you can choose which version you like to install, whether it be 32-bit or 64 bit.

To install Windows Tiny7 from this CD, set your PC up so it will boot from the CD-ROM in the PC's BIOS.
There is no upgrade option available in Tiny7, because the option is removed.
Only install Tiny7 onto a freshly formatted partition or hard disk.
You do not need any product key in this release - the installation of Tiny7 is unattended, apart from in the very beginning where you choose which drive or partition to install to.
All installations are set to US English. If you do not want the US keyboard settings, you will have to change this in Windows when it has installed (as opposed to choosing it at install time), its easy enough, just open the "Keyboard Settings" folder in the desktop eXPerience folder and read the included ReadMe.txt that is there.

Quick Launch Enabler
On the desktop is a tool that can enable Quick Launch in just one click. You should run this ONCE only, if you want Quick Launch like on XP/Vista.
If the program doesn't make Quick Launch the first time, just remove the Quick Launch toolbar and run the enabler again.

Special note from eXPerience:
I have used this modded OS for a few days and it seems every bit as fast as Windows XP. If you have always wanted to use Vista, but were holding out for Windows 7 - its worth it! This slimmed edition boots up fast, shuts down fast, opens applications fast, even VMware v5.5 runs fast on it once its started up. File copying seems no slower than XP. All in all this new Windows really blows away XP because of all the new features. You have to remember XP is from 2001 when no one even had such a thing as "Wireless" or a SATA drive. Now all this new hardware runs on Windows XP but the OS was never designed to run it really. You might wonder why not just use Vista - don't even go there. Lets just pretend Vista never existed. In fact Microsoft should have not ever released it but I guess they had to in order to improve on it and eventually get it right - with Windows 7

Windows 7 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs and media center PCs.
Windows 7 was released to manufacturing (RTM) on July 22, 2009, with general retail availability set for October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista.

New and changed features
Windows 7 includes a number of new features, such as advances in touch and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, DirectAccess, and kernel improvements. Windows 7 adds support for systems using multiple heterogeneous graphics cards from different vendors (Heterogeneous Multi-adapter), a new version of Windows Media Center, a Gadget for Windows Media Center, improved media features, the XPS Essentials Pack and Windows PowerShell being included, and a redesigned Calculator with multiline capabilities including Programmer and Statistics modes along with unit conversion. Many new items have been added to the Control Panel, including ClearType Text Tuner, Display Color Calibration Wizard, Gadgets, Recovery, Troubleshooting, Workspaces Center, Location and Other Sensors, Credential Manager, Biometric Devices, System Icons, and Display. Windows Security Center has been renamed to Windows Action Center (Windows Health Center and Windows Solution Center in earlier builds) which encompasses both security and maintenance of the computer. The default setting for User Account Control in Windows 7 has been criticized for allowing untrusted software to be launched with elevated privileges by exploiting a trusted application. Microsoft's Windows kernel engineer Mark Russinovich acknowledged the problem, but noted that there are other vulnerabilities that do not rely on the new setting.
Internet Spades, Internet Backgammon and Internet Checkers, which were removed from Windows Vista, were restored in Windows 7. Windows 7 will include Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media Player 12. Users will also be able to disable many more Windows components than was possible in Windows Vista. New additions to this list of components include Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center, Windows Search, and the Windows Gadget Platform. Windows 7 includes 13 additional sound schemes, titled Afternoon, Calligraphy, Characters, Cityscape, Delta, Festival, Garden, Heritage, Landscape, Quirky, Raga, Savanna, and Sonata. A new version of Virtual PC, Windows Virtual PC Beta is available for Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions. It allows multiple Windows environments, including Windows XP Mode, to run on the same machine, requiring the use of Intel VT-x or AMD-V. Windows XP Mode runs Windows XP in a virtual machine and redirects displayed applications running in Windows XP to the Windows 7 desktop. Furthermore Windows 7 supports the mounting of a virtual hard disk (VHD) as a normal data storage, and the bootloader delivered with Windows 7 can boot the Windows system from a VHD. The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) of Windows 7 is also enhanced to support real-time multimedia application including video playback and 3D games. That means that Direct X 10 can be used in a remote desktop environment. The three application limit will be removed from Windows 7 Starter
Taskbar
The taskbar has seen the biggest visual changes, where the Quick Launch toolbar has been replaced with pinning applications to the taskbar. Buttons for pinned applications are integrated with the task buttons. These buttons also enable the Jump Lists feature to allow easy access to common tasks. The revamped taskbar also allows the reordering of taskbar buttons. To the far right of the system clock is a small rectangular button that serves as the Show desktop icon. This button is part of the new feature in Windows 7 called Aero Peek. Hovering over this button makes all visible windows transparent for a quick look at the desktop. In touch-enabled displays such as touch screens, tablet PCs, etc., this button is slightly wider to accommodate being pressed with a finger. Clicking this button minimizes all windows, and clicking it a second time restores them. Additionally, there is a feature named Aero Snap, that automatically maximizes a window when it is dragged to either the top or left/right edges of the screen. This also allows users to snap documents or files on either side of the screen to compare them. When a user moves windows that are maximized, the system restores their previous state automatically. This functionality is also accomplished with keyboard shortcuts. Unlike in Windows Vista, window borders and the taskbar do not turn opaque when a window is maximized with Windows Aero applied. Instead, they remain transparent.

- Use NERO to burn the ISO image called faXcooL.Windows.7.Ultimate.ENG.x86-x64.ACTiVATED
- Burning speed should not be faster than 4x. Otherwise, it might not work.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure you've seleceted your DVD-ROM/RW drive as a first boot device
* Enter the BIOS pressing the DEL button, set the option, insert your Windows 7 installation and restart computer.
- The black screen will appear (image 01).
- Press any key to boot from CD or DVD.... (by pressing the key you're entering the setup)
- Select your language, time and currency and keyboard input (optionaly)
- Click install now
- Choose your edition (x86 is 32-bit, x64 is 64-bit) depending of CPU type you have.
*Choose x64 if you have 64-bit processor.
- Click I accept.
- Click Custom (advanced).
- Choose your partition/hdd drive where Win7 should be installed and click format.
*You might get some error if you have two or more hard disks with different connectors (ATA and SATA).
If you get an error, turn off one of your hard disks and repeat the whole proces.
- After formatting, setup will continue automaticly and it will finish after 15-30 min.
- Next step would be username (Image 17).
- Type your password (if you want).
- When you get the screen for CD-KEY just ignore it leaving blank.
*Uncheck the box for automaticly activation and click next.
- Choose the third option for next step.
- Select your time zone.
- Select your current location (Home is recommended).
- The black CMD windows will appear. Wait a few seconds until computers restares once again.
- And that would be all about installation. You're in Windows now.

- It's not required, because it's OEM. Windows will be premanently activated.
However, it's well known that there is some problems with DELL and HP machines.
So if you have issues with pre-activation you'll be forced to some activator to activate Windows 7.

Nothing has been removed from the original ISO files. It's completely untouched. The only thing that I modifyed is setup so that you can choose which version you like to install, whether it be 32-bit or 64 bit.

80% : the activators will work meanwhile the other 20% depends on how old your laptop/computer, If you did an upgrade you will have to use an external activator because this version was made for a clean installation.
--> If you do not want to be forced to use an activator. I would do a custom install but you don't really have to format your driver due to the fact that Windows 7 will just overwrite your current windows and put the old windows in a folder called "Windows.old" where your previous windows installion files are kept. And it is optional if you choose to delete the old folder because the drivers are there after installation. Make sure you are connected to the internet before and after the installation.
Go for the fresh Installation if you dont really have important programs you can easily re-install at a later time. ( I RECOMMEND THIS )

- Choose the third option for next step.
- Select your time zone.
- Select your current location (Home is recommended).
- The black CMD windows will appear. Wait a few seconds until computers restares once again.

Furthermore Windows 7 supports the mounting of a virtual hard disk (VHD) as a normal data storage, and the bootloader delivered with Windows 7 can boot the Windows system from a VHD. The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) of Windows 7 is also enhanced to support real-time multimedia application including video playback and 3D games. That means that Direct X 10 can be used in a remote desktop environment. The three application limit will be removed from Windows 7 Starter
Taskbar
The taskbar has seen the biggest visual changes, where the Quick Launch toolbar has been replaced with pinning applications to the taskbar. Buttons for pinned applications are integrated with the task buttons. These buttons also enable the Jump Lists feature to allow easy access to common tasks. The revamped taskbar also allows the reordering of taskbar buttons. To the far right of the system clock is a small rectangular button that serves as the Show desktop icon. This button is part of the new feature in Windows 7 called Aero Peek. Hovering over this button makes all visible windows transparent for a quick look at the desktop. In touch-enabled displays such as touch screens, tablet PCs, etc., this button is slightly wider to accommodate being pressed with a finger. Clicking this button minimizes all windows, and clicking it a second time restores them. Additionally, there is a feature named Aero Snap, that automatically maximizes a window when it is dragged to either the top or left/right edges of the screen. This also allows users to snap documents or files on either side of the screen to compare them. When a user moves windows that are maximized, the system restores their previous state automatically. This functionality is also accomplished with keyboard shortcuts. Unlike in Windows Vista, window borders and the taskbar do not turn opaque when a window is maximized with Windows Aero applied. Instead, they remain transparent.

80% : the activators will work meanwhile the other 20% depends on how old your laptop/computer, If you did an upgrade you will have to use an external activator because this version was made for a clean installation.

I would do a custom install but you don't really have to format your driver due to the fact that Windows 7 will just overwrite your current windows and put the old windows in a folder called "Windows.old" where your previous windows installion files are kept. And it is optional if you choose to delete the old folder because the drivers are there after installation. Make sure you are connected to the internet before and after the installation.
Go for the fresh Installation if you dont really have important programs you can easily re-install at a later time. ( I RECOMMEND THIS )

O Windows 7 (początkowo nadano mu nazwę kodową Blackcomb; w roku 2007 ogłoszono nazwę kodową Windows 7; wkrótce potem oznajmiono, iż pod tą nazwą system ukaże się również oficjalnie) świat po raz pierwszy usłyszał w lutym roku 2000. Nazwa ta była początkowo przeznaczona dla następcy systemu Microsoft Windows XP, który miał zostać wydany pod koniec roku 2002. Windows 7 planowany był w wersjach serwerowych oraz dla stacji roboczych, jednakże w sierpniu roku 2001 wydanie tego systemu zostało przesunięte na lata 2003 – 2004 a następcą Microsoft Windows XP oficjalnie został Microsoft Windows Vista (określany wtedy nazwą kodową Longhorn). Przyczyną miał być brak wymaganego przez system powszechnego dostępu do szerokopasmowego Internetu.
Spekulowano, że Microsoft Windows Vista będzie rozwiązaniem tymczasowym, mającym wypełnić lukę pomiędzy wydaniami systemów Microsoft Windows XP oraz Windows 7. Miała to potwierdzać wypowiedź Steve'a Ballmera z Microsoftu, który w październiku 2001 na konferencji Gartnera stwierdził, że naprawdę ważne zmiany nastąpią "za dwa wydania Windows"[potrzebne źródło]. Microsoft Windows Vista został wydany w styczniu 2007 roku i jest kolejnym głównym wydaniem systemu Microsoft Windows.
Z czasem projekt Windows 7 został wyciszony i poddany wielu zmianom a spekulacje prasowe podawały w wątpliwość jego istnienie[potrzebne źródło]. Pojawiały się jednak informacje o krążących wewnątrz firmy wersjach roboczych tego systemu a nawet o konkretnych numerach tych wersji (dokładniej kompilacje 351 oraz 440). Informacje te mówiły, że 7 jest nazwą nowej serwerowej wersji Windows. Wydawały się one jednak mało prawdopodobne, ponieważ w Internecie od dłuższego czasu znaleźć można było film prezentujący współpracę Windows 7 oraz MSN Explorera 7.
W trakcie rozwoju projektu planowane rozwiązania były wielokrotnie modyfikowane, jak również przenoszone do i z innych projektów. Obecnie wiadomo, że część rozwiązań planowanych dla Windows 7 trafiło do systemu Microsoft Windows Vista. Windows 7 natomiast zawierać będzie elementy projektowane początkowo dla Visty, chociaż niektóre z nich, jeśli zostaną ukończone wcześniej, mogą zostać wydane jako osobne produkty jeszcze przed premierą Windows 7.
Microsoft zapowiadał, że wersja Milestone 2 powinna pojawić się w kwietniu lub maju 2008, a wersja Milestone 3 w ciągu kolejnych trzech kwartałów[2].
13 października 2008 ogłoszono, że oficjalną nazwą następcy systemu Windows Vista jest Windows 7.
Początkowe plany zakładały utworzenie nowego jądra systemu, MinWin. Wczesna wersja rozwojowa MinWin została zaprezentowana 13 października 2007 roku przez pracownika Microsoftu, Erica Trauta.
Na wideo z prezentacji[3] widzimy jądro w działaniu. Fakt, że jego funkcje były dosyć ograniczone, świadczy o tym, że Microsoft pracował nad czymś nowym. Do pracy MinWin potrzebował zaledwie nieco ponad 30MB pamięci operacyjnej. Projekt składał się z około 100 plików.
Jednakże Steven Sinofsky w wywiadzie dla CNN powiedział, że Windows 7 będzie posiadało ulepszoną wersję obecnego jądra a nie MinWin. Jako powód podano, iż Microsoft jest zadowolony z obecnego jądra[4], a MinWin zostanie natomiast użyty jako ważny komponent a nie jądro. Konfiguracja minimalna
Niektóre funkcje systemu Windows 7 są niedostępne przy poniższej konfiguracji, wg producenta:
• Procesor 32- lub 64-bitowy o częstotliwości 800 MHz,
• 512 MB pamięci operacyjnej,
• Karta graficzna SVGA (o rozdzielczości 800×600),
• Dysk twardy o pojemności 20 GB i 15 GB wolnego miejsca,
• Napęd CD-ROM.
Konfiguracja zalecana
Umożliwia korzystanie ze wszystkich funkcji systemu, wg producenta:
• Procesor 32- lub 64-bitowy o częstotliwości 1 GHz,
• 1 GB pamięci operacyjnej,
• Karta graficzna spełniająca wymagania Windows Aero (m.in. Pixel Shader 2.0) i posiadająca 128 MB pamięci,
• Dysk twardy o pojemności 40 GB i mający 15 GB wolnego miejsca podczas instalacji,
• Napęd DVD-ROM,
• Urządzenie wyjściowe audio,
